Hologram

What is Hologram?
A
Hologram is a physical structure that diffracts light into an image. The term
“Hologram” can refer to both the encoded material and the resulting image. A
hologram image can be seen by looking into an illuminated holographic image
print or by shinning a laser through a hologram and projecting the image onto a
screen.
Did you all know that Hologram is
actually a camera matching technique?
Other
methods of projecting and reflecting images are often described as holographic
or even misleadingly holograms. Because they have an optical presence and
spatial quality. For examples the pepper’s ghost technique. Which uses a
partially reflective surface to mix a reflection with the scene beyond. John
Henry Pepper demonstrated the technique in the 1860s with it being used to
overplay visual elements (often a figure – ‘Ghost’) onto a physical set or
stage

Holography
is based on the principle of interference. A Hologram captures the interference
pattern between two or more beams of coherent light (i.e. laser light). One
beam is shone directly on the recording medium and acts as a reference to the
light scattered from the illuminated scene. (reference: holocenter.org)
What is Silat Hologram?
Silat
hologram is the combine of a projection on a stage with the movement of silat.
We have such as Pencak Silat, Silat Gayung, Silat Cekak Harimau, Silat
Gelombang, Silat Gerak Abadi, Silat Hang Tuah and so many more. This way, Silat
can be known not just in one place, but to the whole world and the purpose is
to preserve while giving a show that can built interest to others about what is
good and the benefit silat is all about. (reference: Anime4nz.blogspot.my)
Silat History
Silat
is been known as a way to defend yourself from harm’s way and is usually practiced
by the Malay people. For centuries, Silat is being known around the world and
being practiced by a lot of people and races these days. It has been many years
(100 and more years) since silat is being practiced and passed down from
generation to generation including martial arts in Brunei, Filipina, Indonesia,
Malaysia and Thailand. One of the main weapon for Melayu as a silat fighter is
keris, sword, Tekpi, Badik, Kerambit, Parang, Lading, Tumbuk lada dan tongkat
tembong also sundang. There is also a duel with bare hands to show strength and
wisdom as intentionally teaches in silat. (reference: wikipedia.org)
Variety of Silat in Hologram Performance.
From
some points of view, when a silat hologram performance is being shown in
public, everyone can see a lot of variety of silat movement with the using of
some new media such as 3D animation, projection mapping (making clones) and
also music can be added in the show as an improvement of modern technology and
culture heritage so that they can be preserve and remembered by everyone as an
interesting performance that combine and boned them uniquely. (reference:
